JEMIMA & CHELSEA’S WEDDING FILM
A WEDDING FILMED AT TANGLEWOOD ESTATE, MORNINGTON //
VENUE: TANGLEWOOD ESTATE
ABOUT THE WEDDING
Jemima and Chelsea’s wedding at Tanglewood Estate in the Mornington Peninsula was a beautiful celebration of love and resilience. The venue’s intimate chapel, with its naturally moody lighting, created a romantic ambiance that perfectly suited my filming style. I love that the owners have embraced the shadows and candlelit glow, adding a cinematic depth to their wedding film.
From the start, this wedding was full of personality. Jemima, a dance teacher, was never going to settle for a standard reception entrance. Along with Chelsea and their bridal party, she choreographed a high-energy performance that set the tone for the night—this wasn’t just a celebration; it was a spectacle! The energy in the room was electric, and it carried through every moment of the evening.
MY THOUGHTS
As the night came to a close, I reflected on what made this wedding particularly special. Beyond the beauty of Tanglewood Estate, beyond the incredible performances and heartfelt vows, was the significance of the moment itself. For many same-sex couples, the journey to marriage is not always easy. But moments like this—surrounded by love, support, and celebration—are a testament to how far we’ve come. It’s weddings like Jemima and Chelsea’s that truly validate the importance of wedding videography. A film doesn’t just capture the big moments; it preserves the emotions, the stories, and the journey of two people who fought to be where they are today. And that’s something worth remembering forever.
For couples looking for a Mornington Peninsula wedding venue with rustic charm and cinematic lighting, Tanglewood Estate is a dream location. And for those searching for a wedding videographer who understands how to capture both the quiet, intimate moments and the high-energy celebrations, this wedding proves just how powerful a film can be.
ABOUT THE COUPLE
HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
We met at high-school, with our first interaction being at our year 9 formal.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING ON VIDEO?
Photo's are wonderful, but there is something about capturing video footage that is extra special. You get so caught up on your wedding day its a really nice experience to be able to watch how the day unfolded.
WHY DID YOU GUYS PICK ME?
You were recommended by us from a friend, but we chose you as your laid back and calm nature appealed to us. The wedding process is stressful so you felt like the perfect fit for our day.
TANGLEWOOD ESTATE… WHY HERE ABOVE ANYWHERE ELSE?
The Mornington Peninsula has always been a special place for Chels and I. We have spent many day trips there, soaking in the day spas. It just felt right to get married at Tanglewood Estate in Dromana. We wanted something rustic, spacious and within the nature. Tanglewood was all of that and more.
